While growing up in Atlanta, Thomas spent many summers and holidays visiting the Cashiers area with family and friends. Even at a young age, he knew it was only a matter of time before he lived there.
Earlier in his working years, Thomas worked at the prestigious Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta and was the head bartender at Park 75 Lounge in the Four Seasons Hotel. While at the Four Seasons, he grew increasingly passionate about incredible customer service and fantastic food and wine. This love drove him to pursue a culinary arts and hospitality management degree at Le Cordon Bleu. In 2011, after nearly a decade of working as a private chef and restaurant owner, Thomas decided to move from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta to Cashiers, where he had longed to call home.
Thanks to friends in the area, he found his way to Lonesome Valley, where he took a job as the clubhouse manager. In that position, he helped cultivate a high-end member experience.
Over time, Thomas began to be drawn to all the inner workings of creating a development and neighborhood and the real estate that went along with it. Thomas ultimately transitioned from clubhouse manager to real estate agent. He quickly moved into the position of owner/broker-in-charge of Lonesome Valley Properties.
In 2015, Thomas met his incredible wife, Stacie, a well-known interior designer and manager at Rusticks Interiors. Thomas and Stacie married in 2016 and currently live between Cashiers and Highlands with their kids and three dogs. They enjoy long hikes, warm days on Lake Glenville, tending to their garden, traveling the world and quality time with family and friends in their free time.
Thomas is excited to bring his many years of real estate and customer service experience and local knowledge to the Cashiers Valley Real Estate team.
