Sarah Jennings is a Partner and Co-Founder of Cashiers Valley Real Estate and a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) specializing in luxury mountain real estate on the Cashiers-Highlands Plateau in Western North Carolina. She works primarily in Cashiers, Highlands, Sapphire, Lake Glenville, and private communities including Lonesome Valley and High Hampton, serving buyers and sellers of custom estates, golf and club properties, and mountain retreats throughout Jackson County and the surrounding plateau.

A native of Germantown, Maryland, Sarah earned a degree in Marketing and Communications from NC State University in 2002. She built her early career in high-end corporate events and catering in Washington, DC, including roles with Design Cuisine (executing events for celebrities, dignitaries, and U.S. Presidents) and as Director of Catering for the Smithsonian museums with Restaurant Associates. She later founded a marketing consulting firm before relocating with her family to Cashiers.

In Cashiers, she first oversaw marketing and events at Lonesome Valley, her husband’s family’s development, for over 10 years. Following the pandemic she transitioned fully into real estate sales, gained experience at Lonesome Valley, and co-founded Cashiers Valley Real Estate in 2022. She is a mother of two teenage boys and is active in the community, having served on the boards of the Jackson County Tourism Development Authority, Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce (current Board Chair), Boys & Girls Club of the Plateau, Cashiers Valley Preschool, and the Summit Charter School Foundation where she is heavily involved with the Cashiers Festival of Trees. She and her husband are members of High Hampton and Lonesome Valley.

Sarah combines deep local knowledge of the plateau’s private communities, market conditions, and lifestyle with the same precision and personal service she brought to high-stakes events. Whether representing buyers seeking a mountain retreat or sellers of luxury properties in Cashiers, Highlands, or surrounding areas, she focuses on clear communication, thoughtful marketing, and a seamless process.
